Whether you come for the hunting, fishing, golfing, shopping, watersports or historic homes, there is a little something for everyone in the family. The people of Eatonton understand the value of preserving the past, which you can see just by taking a stroll through the historic downtown, lined with more than 100 antebellum, Gothic, and Victorian style homes. Madison

Small-town charm awaits you in Madison! Its National Register Historic District is one of the state’s largest collections of 19th-century architecture, earning it a place in Travel & Leisure’s “10 Charming Small Towns in Georgia” 2021. The Madison Walking Tour and Wellness Trail will have you getting in your 10,000 steps among stunning homes and gardens. Madison’s vibrant downtown is brimming with dozens of unique shopping options from antique shops, home design boutiques, and independent retailers where you’ll find just the perfect piece to take home.
