Lawrence Shoals Campground
A full-service campground offering many amenities such as playgrounds and boat docks, Lawrence Shoals provides a unique opportunity for visitors to explore the natural beauty of Lake Oconee. The swimming beach is a maintained white sand beach with marked swimming areas.
Shut down your phone and be one with nature at this beautiful campground. At Old Salem primitive campsites, you’ll find peace and tranquility, and enjoy lovely scenery and nearby communities that are steeped in history. There’s something fun for the whole outdoorsy family including day-use picnic areas, swimming beach and playground, boat ramp, grill and pavilion for events and reunions. Old Salem Campground access will close for camping December 1st thru February 28th and will reopen March 1st. Old Salem Boat Ramp is open year around.

Jere-Shai Lakeside
Located on a quiet, yet easily accessible cove of Lake Sinclair, Jere-Shai has it all for the first-time lake visitor as well as the seasoned lake lover. They also offer pontoon and jet skis for rent based on an hourly rate.
Lake Sinclair Recreation Area
Open year round, and managed by the Department of Agriculture Forest Service, Lake Sinclair Recreation Area requires a day parking fee to use the public beach. Also includes a playground for kids and a variety of campsites for public use.
Oconee Springs Park
Oconee Springs Park offers one of the most comprehensive areas for fun in Georgia’s Lake Country. In addition to a maintained beach area, they also have a lakeside waterpark with large inflatable toys. Oconee Springs also has cabins for rent on property, just steps away from the lake.
Rocky Creek Park
Managed by Georgia Power, Rocky Creek Park is open Memorial Day to Labor Day. The park has many opportunities for fun for all ages including a playground, pavilion and nature trails. The park is also handicapped accessible.
